I had to leave a review because I experienced something yesterday that I haven’t felt in a long time. I left Mango Dental feeling genuinely satisfied with a service I had invested in. In 2025, it often feels like customer service is disappearing and attention to detail is almost non-existent in many businesses—but not here.
From the moment I walked in, I was taken care of quickly, and I could tell the scheduling and preparation had been done with thought to make my visit as smooth and efficient as possible. At the same time, I never once felt rushed. Too often in the past, I’ve felt like just another number being pushed through the motions so the office could move on to the next person. That wasn’t the case here. Instead, I felt like I was visiting family who truly cared about giving me the best treatment.
Even though I was just in for a routine visit, I was warmly greeted by the two owners and several staff members. They were all kind, welcoming, and professional. When it came to discussing treatment options, they were transparent and never tried to upsell me with unnecessary or expensive choices. That level of honesty means a lot to me.
I quickly established trust with this team and can say with confidence that I’ll be a customer for life. Nobody looks forward to going to the dentist, but I actually look forward to my next visit knowing there are still people out there who take pride in their work and treat their patients with respect and dignity.

Mango Dental is AMAZING! Had an emergency with my husband’s teeth while visiting and not only were they incredibly professional and personable they did whatever they could to work with us scheduling wise. Didn’t try to oversell us either, genuinely amazing people who do amazing work. They got so much work done on his teeth in such a short amount of time and did a great job on them. Thank you guys sincerely! The experience we had with you actually had us considering moving here just to be able to come to your dentistry, may honestly fly back when we need more work done. Dr. Mango is absolutely the real deal when it comes to being gentle & precise. I’ve spent approximately 25 hours in his dental chair in the pass nine months. No pain but tons of gain. I now have my smile complete. I must say it was definitely time and money well spent for I am very happy with the end results . Dr. Mango is the real deal & his assistant Heather made the dental appointments less stressful each and every time. Two true professionals that will not let you down.

I sought out Mango Dental for a veneer, based solely on their reviews/reputation. Since it was a single tooth, in the front, my own dentist was not comfortable doing it, stating that it is very hard to match a single tooth. Dr Joe and his staff did a marvelous job throughout the entire process. Yes, there were multiple appointments. I was made aware in advance that the process could be tedious getting everything perfect. I signed up for perfection and Dr Joe delivered! He and his staff also have a great camraderie in the office which extends to fabulous chair-side interaction. 10/10 would recommend! If I didn’t love my own hygienist, I would absolutely be changing all my dental care to Mango Dental.

Dr. Mango is the best dentist I’ve been to, hands down. I went in to get a cavity filled and was honestly dreading it, but the whole experience was completely painless. Dr. Mango used a laser for the filling and I didn’t feel a thing. He was patient throughout, explained each step along the way. And all the staff are friendly also. What really stood out was that Dr. Mango took the time to ask if I was happy with my smile and gave me some genuinely helpful ideas for improving it, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a dentist.
Every member of the staff here is professional, knowledgeable, and excellent at what they do. I have had a cleaning, and some cavities filled. Both done thoroughly and efficiently. They also have a laser option that you don’t really need numbing for. It was nice to skip the needle in the gums. I highly recommend this office. Dr Joe is a great guy!
Hygiene reviews
For many dental visits are stressful but Mango Dental puts patients at ease with their impeccable professionalism. The office is immaculate with attention to essential hygiene. The staff are compassionate and skilled and personable and gauge each visit by listening to the individual patient and making them feel like they are in a place where they can trust all dental issues will be handled with the primary aim being best result possible.
I haven’t been to the dentist in quite some time due to fear. I’ve always had that feeling that I would go to the dentist if something hurt. I met Dr Mango and after visiting his office and staff, the feeling of fear has been replaced with happiness. Melissa is one of the best dental hygengienists ive ever met. She definitely made my visit to the dentist much more pleasant than I imagined. They are a top notch Dentist office and put my mind at ease immediately. I’m so glad I went, and look forward to future visits
I’ve lived all over the country and been to a dozen dentists. The Mango dental office is one of the Best. The dental staff is gentle, thorough and up to date with the latest treatment techniques. I feel like they have my best interests at heart.

Dr. Mango and staff are without a doubt the best in the industry in Greensboro. They are kind and technologically superior to other dentists that I have experienced in the area. The office is clean and the incredible staff is professional.
I had a great experience at Mango Dental. I was not thrilled with my existing practice and decided to try them out for a consult on some cosmetic issues. Both Dr. Mike and Dr. Joe consulted on my concerns and strategized with me on different options, and I now have a plan. Dr. Mike also did some gentle contouring of one of the problem areas that immediately made a big improvement. I felt better taken care of and understood in that one appointment than I had in the past 5 years of appointments with other dentists. I was so impressed that I will likely change my insurance to the one they are in-network with when I next have the opportunity.

I had my upper teeth removed today. I had been dreading this procedure for weeks. Dr. Mango and his assistant were truly amazing. They calmed my anxiety and extracted the teeth with no pain. I’m still surprised at how quickly the teeth were removed without incident. I would give them 10 stars if I could.
Mango Dental is my Family!! Been going there for years through molar removals and replacements and some other work, but now when I get in for my semi-annual cleanings I am always greeted up front by name by Sue and team. Then when I go back I have Lindy to clean and inspect before Dr. Mango comes in to observe any progress or changes! Couldn’t recommend anyone else!

I never thought I’d use the words “a fantastic experience” and “dental office” in the same sentence—but this was! I have been here for cleanings before, but I recently had some cavities filled and one of my front teeth internally bleached. The front tooth had turned gray from a root canal I had when I was a kid, and I had quite a bit of anxiety about someone digging around in that tooth *again.* However, almost immediately after talking with Dr. Mike and Heather I was confident it would go okay. They were attentive and made sure I was comfortable throughout, and honestly the whole process (fillings + bleaching) was really efficient and easy for me. As for pain: Even when the needles were inserted into my gums for numbing, it barely hurt. After that it was just pressure. Now a few weeks later, I’ve had no issues with the fillings or my front tooth! (which, thanks to Dr. Mike, no longer looks like it belongs on a corpse)

I have been a patient here for about 45 years. I started with Dr. Charles Langdon. Now he has retired and I see Dr. Joe. He is wonderful! Friendly, kind, takes the time to listen to your concerns, answers every question and explains everything about your treatment plan. The assistants and office staff are all friendly and kind also. This is a small practice with a huge heart for their patients. I am so grateful there are still doctors who sincerely care.
Mango dentistry is simply top tier on every level. I had an emergency situation & despite being booked they took the time to see me the very next day. The young lady who I conversed with was professional , well spoken and understanding. The doctor assistant was highly skilled and courteous Dr. Joe is nothing short of a Dr. with gifted hands , he’s brilliant. I shall never ever visit another dentist office . It’s either Mango or a no go. The entire office deserves a standing ovation.
